Charles Parham sent his students into the mission field without any language training. He believed, with the gift of tongues restored, the laborious work of learning a new language was no longer needed. He was wrong. Every missionary who thought they had the gift of tongues came back embarrassed and humiliated. This is the story of those embarrassed missionaries.
